Music at Cherry Hill Presents
Vanguard Voices Lessons and Carols Concert
Vanguard Voices, under the direction of G. Kevin Dewey, will present their Lessons and Carols concert on Sunday, December 21, at 6:00 pm. Patterned after the famed King’s College, Cambridge Service of Nine Lessons and Carols, this concert by the 60+ voice ensemble will feature readings from the Christmas story paired with settings of anthems and carols by composers from around the world.

Christmas Eve at Cherry Hill
Amid the warm glow of candlelight and the company of treasured family members and friends, we will gather for ONE traditional Christmas Eve service at 5:00 pm. This service will take place in the sanctuary and will include the choir and a brass quintet, leading beloved Christmas Carol settings under the direction of Charles Miller.

Monday Afternoon Study Group
During Advent
Monday's at 1:00pm during Advent study group continues reading and discussing "The Message of Jesus by Adam Hamilton". We have been discussing six major themes which Jesus taught. We will continue those final lessons December 1 and 8. On December 15, “The Accounts of Jesus Birth”, a study offered by The Thoughtful Christian led by Pastor Teresa, will be offered.

Warming Tree for Dearborn Goodfellows & W.O.R.D.
Afterschool Literacy Program
The Deacons will once again be collecting items for our Holiday Warming Tree. We will be working with the Dearborn Goodfellows who distribute the items to families throughout the local community. The generosity of our congregation earned Cherry Hill Church an award from the Goodfellows last year! Let’s see if we can do it again.
The Warming Tree will be in Weir Foyer, starting November 16. It can be adorned with coats, gloves, scarves, and hats in a variety of sizes for children and adults. It is requested that ALL items be NEW!

Helping Hand Food Pantry
We are helping people in our community
to fight hunger.

Helping Hand
Helping Hand is a program supported by the congregation of this church. We supply food to people of our community on an emergency basis. Other area churches and local organizations participate in this program by providing additional food and monetary donations that assist us in keeping the church pantry supplied. These are our sole sources of assistance to aid those who come to us in need.

The Helping Hand Food Pantry is open on the first and third Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.* If it is your first time, please come before 11:30 a.m. To qualify to receive food from the pantry, a picture I.D. is required. Only one person per household (per address) is eligible to apply for assistance for the family. Eligible participants can receive food from the pantry once every other month**.

Since 1989, the food pantry has served an increasing number of families every year and remains committed to addressing food insecurity in southeast Michigan where, as many as 1 in 7, households struggle to put food on the table.

How can I donate food?
Generally, you can drop off non-perishable food items to the church Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but please call ahead.

Building Usage - Space to Share, Room to Grow
We've been a part of the Dearborn community since 1942. During that time, we've been able to support our neighbors by providing space for many community activities -- scout meetings, yoga classes, meetings and more. Our usage fees are very reasonable and help cover maintenance costs for our building. Please contact us to learn more about our building and how it might fit into your plans.
