         to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Anyone who supports the Purpose in any way is participating in Presbyterian Women. So even if you’re just learning about Presbyterian Women, there’s a good chance you’re already supporting Presbyterian Women—in spirit or in action! Won’t you consider joining us in person?

PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN UPDATE

PW Birthday Offering:

Thank you to all the women who donated to the PW Birthday Offering this spring.  We received a total of $984.00!  Thank you for your generosity!

Summer Dreams Sand Pails:

We want to thank the congregation for their participation during the month of May.  We collected $200.00 for The Second Mile Center to use for their summer program.  They were very grateful to receive this!

Peace Circle:

Peace Circle meets on the first Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 10:00 a.m. in Memorial Parlor. The first meeting of the program year will be held on September 3.  Peace Circle meets for Bible study, mission, and fellowship.  All women in the congregation are invited to come anytime to a meeting.  For more information, contact Judy Goerke or Sherry Brown.

2024-2025 Bible Study:

This year we are studying “Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call to Care for Neighbors and All Creation” by Patricia K. Tull.  Study guides are $10.00.  Please contact Mary Boudreau if you need one.

The Second Mile Center Fundraiser:

On Saturday, October 12th, there will be a Golf Outing/Fundraiser for The Second Mile Center of Detroit at Farmington Hills Golf Club. Presbyterian Women of Cherry Hill has donated $250.00 to “Sponsor a Hole”.  Individuals may go to the Center’s website to register for the golf outing, or to donate.  Information is posted on the PW bulletin board in Weir Foyer.

PW of Cherry Hill Fall Mission Project:

During October, the PC(USA) Month of Mission, Presbyterian Women of Cherry Hill will be collecting a special offering to benefit The Second Mile Center of Detroit.  The congregation will receive a mailing during the last week of September asking all of you to participate in the “Let’s Go the Extra Mile for Second Mile” Offering.  This offering will help the Center provide much needed items for the holidays and into the new year!
